Education is more than what is taught at schools and colleges. It is more than the syllabus, and it is contained more outside the books. True learning is when you explore your knowledge and challenge yourself to be more advanced in terms of information. If you do not find an opportunity, create one; but learn you must. The reason, I want to help everyone is that I have seen how a lack of education can waste huge opportunities. I have struggled to gain knowledge and therefore, I know the value of learning. I have seen myself evolve through self-learning.
I started as a typical engineer and walked into the world of technology, curious and exploring as a newbie. In the process of learning, I grew as a techie and then I never looked back. With varied domains such as Website Development, Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM, SMM, Project Management, Project Implementation, and CSR; I developed my skills in HTML5, CSS 3, PHP, JS (Basics), Google Analytics, HubSpot, Unbounce, MatLab, and Project Management. If I can do it, you can do it too!
In this digital age, the internet is easily accessible to most of the students. Harnessing this availability of the resource is like creating an opportunity for you. There are still millions who are deprived of the right and proper education. Well, it is obvious that only learned can impart valuable education. Even in an urban area, there are young students who lack the proper skill set as they are not fully aware of the technology. The cause for this is that they are either misguided in regards to new technology or they are financially inefficient to pay and educate themselves. Self-study is fruitful only when you have the right resources.
As a current employee of TeamViewer, I was exposed to different parts of technology which enabled me to learn and experience new things every day. It was difficult in the beginning; but as I progressed every day, it was worth the experience. My job profile, as a Web and marketing Apps Manager, is to link up the web team with a marketing team and provide a platform to the marketing team by which the productivity of the company is strengthened and increased. I am responsible to make the graph of the company linearly high. It sounds like a big responsibility, and therefore the pressure is quite high, making it scarier in the beginning. The job profile also demanded to work with other colleagues across the globe.
I hesitated a bit at first, given the fact that there are different work cultures that I was not aware of. However, I trusted myself and my knowledge, and with confidence in my heart, I conquered all the challenges. This, surely, was not made in a day. It took a lot more effort and self-learning. Slowly but steadily, I won.
As quoted above, my knowledge has no meaning if I am not spreading it to the needy. Internet is one easy and most efficient way where I can help anyone to learn technology that is required today.
